B10THx56/1P-SC-S / B10THx56/1P-SC-M

The B10THx56/1P-SC-S / B10THx56/1P-SC-M is a 56-plate build of the SWEP B10T. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing S is the pressure class: 31 bar at 155 C. The connection field reads / B10THx56/1P-SC-M. The B10T plate pack measures 289 x 119 mm (11.38 x 4.69 in) on 243 x 72 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 56-plate unit comes to about 6.5 kg (14.4 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 9 m3/h (39.63 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. If the flow on either side would exceed the published ceiling, the answer is a larger frame, not more plates on this one.
