Four numbers decide a brazed plate selection: the approach temperature, the plate count that buys it, the pressure drop it costs, and what the fluid does to all three.
State the duty, not the exchanger. Flows, temperatures in and out, fluids and the pressure drop you can afford decide the frame better than any catalogue browse.
A selection is only as good as the duty behind it. Give the flow on each side, all four temperatures, both fluids by name with any glycol concentration, and the pressure drop each circuit can spare. Leave one out and the result is a guess; with all of them it is a frame, a plate count and a quote.
