B25THx30

This is the 30-plate B25T: SWEP designation B25THx30. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The B25T plate pack measures 526 x 119 mm (20.71 x 4.69 in) on 479 x 72 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 30-plate unit comes to about 7.5 kg (16.4 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 9 m3/h (39.63 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. For a new duty, send the inlet temperature on each side and the flows, and we will say immediately whether this plate count is the right one.
