Description
B25THx40 designates a SWEP B25T brazed plate heat exchanger with 40 plates in the pack. Its H plates are the high-theta pattern - the choice when the leaving temperature is tight and the pump has head to spare. The B25T plate pack measures 526 x 119 mm (20.71 x 4.69 in) on 479 x 72 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 40-plate unit comes to about 9.2 kg (20.3 lb) dry. The frame is published to 9 m3/h (39.63 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Check the connection field separately from the plate count: two units can be consistant in every other field and still not pipe up.
