B85Hx20/1P-SC-M 4x1"&22U

The B85Hx20/1P-SC-M 4x1"&22U is a 20-plate build of the SWEP B85. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. Reading the string: /1P is single pass; -SC is 316/316L stainless steel plates joined with copper. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. The connection field reads 4x1"&22U. The B85 plate pack measures 526 x 119 mm (20.71 x 4.69 in) on 470 x 63 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 20-plate unit comes to about 4.8 kg (10.6 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 17 m3/h (74.85 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. Thermal performence depends on the duty as much as on the part number, so include the fluids if the unit is going into a new application.
