Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B85Hx34/1P-SC-M 4x1" as shown on this page.
This is the 34-plate B85: SWEP designation B85Hx34/1P-SC-M 4x1". Its H plates are the high-theta pattern - the choice when the leaving temperature is tight and the pump has head to spare. Reading the string: /1P is single pass; -SC is 316/316L stainless steel plates joined with copper. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. The connection field reads 4x1". The B85 plate pack measures 526 x 119 mm (20.71 x 4.69 in) on 470 x 63 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 34-plate unit comes to about 6.7 kg (14.9 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 17 m3/h (74.85 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. Depth is the one dimension that changes across the plate counts of a series, so measure the space behind the unit before moving to a larger pack.
