Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B86Hx60/1P-SC-M 4x1"&22U(20) as shown on this page.
The B86Hx60/1P-SC-M 4x1"&22U(20) is a 60-plate build of the SWEP B86. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. Reading the string: /1P is single pass; -SC is 316/316L stainless steel plates joined with copper. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. Connections are listed as 4x1"&22U(20), in port order. The B86 plate pack measures 526 x 119 mm (20.71 x 4.69 in) on 470 x 63 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 60-plate unit comes to about 10.3 kg (22.7 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 9 m3/h (39.63 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. Depth is the one dimension that changes accross the plate counts of a series, so measure the space behind the unit before moving to a larger pack.
