B250ASx140 designates a SWEP B250AS brazed plate heat exchanger with 140 plates in the pack. The B250AS plate pack measures 620 x 202 mm (24.41 x 7.95 in) on 538 x 112 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 140-plate unit comes to about 55.6 kg (122.5 lb) dry. The frame is published to 62 m3/h (272.98 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. It is not necessary to send drawings for a like-for-like replacement - the string above carries the whole build.
