Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B320HTHx180/1P-SC-S 4x2 1/2" as shown on this page.
This is the 180-plate B320HT: SWEP designation B320HTHx180/1P-SC-S 4x2 1/2". The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. Reading the string: /1P is single pass; -SC is 316/316L stainless steel plates joined with copper. The closing S is the pressure class: 31 bar at 155 C. It is catalogued with 4x2 1/2" connections. The B320HT plate pack measures 525 x 243 mm (20.67 x 9.57 in) on 441 x 159 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 180-plate unit comes to about 83.3 kg (183.8 lb) dry. The frame is published to 61.7 m3/h (271.66 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. A like-for-like order needs only this string; we recommend adding the fluids and flows where the system has been altered.
