Description
DB400x200 designates a SWEP DB400 brazed plate heat exchanger with 200 plates in the pack. The DB400 plate pack measures 694 x 304 mm (27.32 x 11.97 in) on 604 x 216 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 200-plate unit comes to about 137.6 kg (303.4 lb) dry. The frame is published to 76 m3/h (334.62 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Check the connection field separately from the plate count: two units can be consistent in every other field and still not pipe up.
