Description
DS500x180 designates a SWEP DS500 brazed plate heat exchanger with 180 plates in the pack. The DS500 plate pack measures 980 x 304 mm (38.58 x 11.97 in) on 866 x 191 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 180-plate unit comes to about 184.8 kg (407.4 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 83 m3/h (365.44 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point.
