V400THx70/1P-SC-M

Part number V400THx70/1P-SC-M is the SWEP V400T frame carrying 70 plates. Its H plates are the high-theta pattern - the choice when the leaving temperature is tight and the pump has head to spare. Reading the string: /1P is single pass; -SC is 316/316L stainless steel plates joined with copper. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. The V400T plate pack measures 694 x 304 mm (27.32 x 11.97 in) on 601 x 205.5 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 70-plate unit comes to about 65.8 kg (145.2 lb) dry. The frame is published to 83 m3/h (365.44 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Thermal performance depends on the duty as much as on the part number, so include the fluids if the unit is going into a new application.
