Description
V400Tx100 designates a SWEP V400T brazed plate heat exchanger with 100 plates in the pack. The V400T plate pack measures 694 x 304 mm (27.32 x 11.97 in) on 601 x 205.5 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 100-plate unit comes to about 86.8 kg (191.4 lb) dry. The frame is published to 83 m3/h (365.44 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Where a nameplate is worn, the plate count and the connection sizes are usually enough to separate this build from its neighbours in the series.
