Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B35Hx40/1P-SC-S 4x1 1/2"NPT as shown on this page.
This is the 40-plate B35: SWEP designation B35Hx40/1P-SC-S 4x1 1/2"NPT. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing S is the pressure class: 31 bar at 155 C. Connections are listed as 4x1 1/2"NPT, in port order. The B35 plate pack measures 393 x 243 mm (15.47 x 9.57 in) on 324 x 174 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 40-plate unit comes to about 19.5 kg (43.0 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 27.4 m3/h (120.64 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. Check the connection field separately from the plate count: two units can be consistant in every other field and still not pipe up.
