B35TM0x40/1P-SC-M 2x1 1/2"INT HEX+2x1 1/4"INT HEX designates a SWEP B35T brazed plate heat exchanger with 40 plates in the pack. The digit after the plate letter (M0) tracks port size and port centre distance rather than heat transfer, so on a replacement it is the field that decides whether the unit lines up with the existing pipework. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested.
