B427Lx160/1P-SC-S / 4xDN100C cs

The B427Lx160/1P-SC-S / 4xDN100C cs is a 160-plate build of the SWEP B427. Its L plates are the low-theta pattern: less pressure drop per plate, and correspondingly more plates for the same duty. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing S is the pressure class: 31 bar at 155 C. The connection field reads / 4xDN100C cs. The B427 plate pack measures 694 x 304 mm (27.32 x 11.97 in) on 567 x 179 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 160-plate unit comes to about 124.9 kg (275.4 lb) dry. The frame is published to 155.5 m3/h (684.65 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Thermal performance depends on the duty as much as on the part number, so include the fluids if the unit is going into a new application.
