Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B439Hx340/1P-SC-S / 4xDN100C cs as shown on this page.
This is the 340-plate B439: SWEP designation B439Hx340/1P-SC-S / 4xDN100C cs. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing S is the pressure class: 31 bar at 155 C. The connection field reads / 4xDN100C cs. The B439 plate pack measures 979 x 304 mm (38.54 x 11.97 in) on 854 x 179 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 340-plate unit comes to about 318.3 kg (701.8 lb) dry. The frame is published to 155.5 m3/h (684.65 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Thermal performance depends on the duty as much as on the part number, so include the fluids if the unit is going into a new application.
