Description
S500Tx110 designates a SWEP S500T brazed plate heat exchanger with 110 plates in the pack. The S500T plate pack measures 979 x 304 mm (38.54 x 11.97 in) on 854 x 179 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 110-plate unit comes to about 128.1 kg (282.4 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 155.5 m3/h (684.65 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. For a new duty, send the inlet temperature on each side and the flows, and we will say immediatly whether this plate count is the right one.
