Description
B5THx20 designates a SWEP B5T brazed plate heat exchanger with 20 plates in the pack. Its H plates are the high-theta pattern - the choice when the leaving temperature is tight and the pump has head to spare. The B5T plate pack measures 193 x 76 mm (7.6 x 2.99 in) on 154 x 40 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 20-plate unit comes to about 1.4 kg (3.2 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 4 m3/h (17.61 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point.
