B5THx4/1P-SC-M 4x1/2"

This is the 4-plate B5T: SWEP designation B5THx4/1P-SC-M 4x1/2". The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. Connections are listed as 4x1/2", in port order. The B5T plate pack measures 193 x 76 mm (7.6 x 2.99 in) on 154 x 40 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 4-plate unit comes to about 0.7 kg (1.6 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 4 m3/h (17.61 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. Treat each side as an independent circuit when you ask for a quote: give both flows and what each fluid is.
