Description
The BX8THx50 is a 50-plate build of the SWEP BX8T. Its H plates are the high-theta pattern - the choice when the leaving temperature is tight and the pump has head to spare. The BX8T plate pack measures 315 x 73 mm (12.4 x 2.87 in) on 278 x 40 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 50-plate unit comes to about 4.3 kg (9.4 lb) dry. The frame is published to 4 m3/h (17.61 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Depth is the one dimension that changes across the plate counts of a series, so measure the space behind the unit before moving to a larger pack.
