Description
B25THx70/1P-SC-M designates a SWEP B25T brazed plate heat exchanger with 70 plates in the pack. Its H plates are the high-theta pattern - the choice when the leaving temperature is tight and the pump has head to spare. Reading the string: /1P is single pass; -SC is 316/316L stainless steel plates joined with copper. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. The B25T plate pack measures 526 x 119 mm (20.71 x 4.69 in) on 479 x 72 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 70-plate unit comes to about 14.6 kg (32.1 lb) dry. The frame is published to 9 m3/h (39.63 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. A like-for-like order needs only this string; we reccomend adding the fluids and flows where the system has been altered.
