B25THx70

The B25THx70 is a 70-plate build of the SWEP B25T. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The B25T plate pack measures 526 x 119 mm (20.71 x 4.69 in) on 479 x 72 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 70-plate unit comes to about 14.6 kg (32.1 lb) dry. The frame is published to 9 m3/h (39.63 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. If the duty has changed since the original equipment went in, send the flows and both inlet conditions and we will confirm whether this configuration still fits.
