B26Hx60

B26Hx60 designates a SWEP B26 brazed plate heat exchanger with 60 plates in the pack. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The B26 plate pack measures 376 x 119 mm (14.8 x 4.69 in) on 329 x 72 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 60-plate unit comes to about 8.2 kg (18.1 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 11.3 m3/h (49.75 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. Thermal performance depends on the duty as much as on the part number, so include the fluids if the unit is going into a new application.
