Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B80SHx20/1P-SPS-M 4x1 1/4"&28U(27) as shown on this page.
This is the 20-plate B80S: SWEP designation B80SHx20/1P-SPS-M 4x1 1/4"&28U(27). The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The /1P-SPS fields read as single pass, with 316 stainless steel plates and a stainless, copper free braze. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. The connection field reads 4x1 1/4"&28U(27). The B80S plate pack measures 526 x 119 mm (20.71 x 4.69 in) on 470 x 63 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 20-plate unit comes to about 6.8 kg (15.0 lb) dry. The frame is published to 17 m3/h (74.85 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Thermal performance depends on the duty as much as on the part number, so include the fluids if the unit is going into a new application.
