Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B86Hx90/1P-SC-M 4x1"&22U as shown on this page.
This is the 90-plate B86: SWEP designation B86Hx90/1P-SC-M 4x1"&22U. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. Reading the string: /1P is single pass; -SC is 316/316L stainless steel plates joined with copper. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. Connections are listed as 4x1"&22U, in port order. The B86 plate pack measures 526 x 119 mm (20.71 x 4.69 in) on 470 x 63 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 90-plate unit comes to about 14.4 kg (31.7 lb) dry. The frame is published to 9 m3/h (39.63 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Check the connection field separately from the plate count: two units can be consistent in every other field and still not pipe up.
