Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B400THx70/1P-SC-M as shown on this page.
This is the 70-plate B400T: SWEP designation B400THx70/1P-SC-M. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. The B400T plate pack measures 694 x 304 mm (27.32 x 11.97 in) on 601 x 205.5 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 70-plate unit comes to about 60.6 kg (133.7 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 83 m3/h (365.44 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. Thermal performance depends on the duty as much as on the part number, so include the fluids if the unit is going into a new application.
