Description
B56Hx160/1P-SC-Y 4x2 1/2" designates a SWEP B56 brazed plate heat exchanger with 160 plates in the pack. Its H plates are the high-theta pattern - the choice when the leaving temperature is tight and the pump has head to spare. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. Connections are listed as 4x2 1/2", in port order. The B56 plate pack measures 525 x 243 mm (20.67 x 9.57 in) on 430 x 148 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 160-plate unit comes to about 67.2 kg (148.2 lb) dry.
