Description
The DB500x50 is a 50-plate build of the SWEP DB500. The DB500 plate pack measures 980 x 304 mm (38.58 x 11.97 in) on 866 x 191 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 50-plate unit comes to about 58.5 kg (129.0 lb) dry. The frame is published to 83 m3/h (365.44 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. For a new duty, send the inlet temperature on each side and the flows, and we will say immediately whether this plate count is the right one.
