B8THx40/1P-SC-M 4x3/4"&16(20)

The B8THx40/1P-SC-M 4x3/4"&16(20) is a 40-plate build of the SWEP B8T. Its H plates are the high-theta pattern - the choice when the leaving temperature is tight and the pump has head to spare. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. It is catalogued with 4x3/4"&16(20) connections. The B8T plate pack measures 317 x 76 mm (12.48 x 2.99 in) on 278 x 40 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 40-plate unit comes to about 3.8 kg (8.5 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 4 m3/h (17.61 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. A like-for-like order needs only this string; we reccomend adding the fluids and flows where the system has been altered.
