B8THx40/1P-SC-M 4x3/4"&16 designates a SWEP B8T brazed plate heat exchanger with 40 plates in the pack. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. Connections are listed as 4x3/4"&16, in port order. The B8T plate pack measures 317 x 76 mm (12.48 x 2.99 in) on 278 x 40 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 40-plate unit comes to about 3.8 kg (8.5 lb) dry. The frame is published to 4 m3/h (17.61 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Check the connection field separately from the plate count: two units can be consistent in every other field and still not pipe up.
