Description
The BX8THx10 is a 10-plate build of the SWEP BX8T. Its H plates are the high-theta pattern - the choice when the leaving temperature is tight and the pump has head to spare. The BX8T plate pack measures 315 x 73 mm (12.4 x 2.87 in) on 278 x 40 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 10-plate unit comes to about 1.3 kg (2.8 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 4 m3/h (17.61 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. For a new duty, send the inlet temperature on each side and the flows, and we will say immediately whether this plate count is the right one.
