E5THx18/1P-SC-S 4x-(0)

The E5THx18/1P-SC-S 4x-(0) is a 18-plate build of the SWEP E5T. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing S is the pressure class: 31 bar at 155 C. It is catalogued with 4x-(0) connections. The E5T plate pack measures 192 x 73 mm (7.56 x 2.87 in) on 154 x 40 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 18-plate unit comes to about 1.0 kg (2.2 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 4 m3/h (17.61 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. Thermal performance depends on the duty as much as on the part number, so include the fluids if the unit is going into a new application.
