E5THx40/1P-SC-S 4x3/4"(20)

The E5THx40/1P-SC-S 4x3/4"(20) is a 40-plate build of the SWEP E5T. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing S is the pressure class: 31 bar at 155 C. The connection field reads 4x3/4"(20). The E5T plate pack measures 192 x 73 mm (7.56 x 2.87 in) on 154 x 40 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 40-plate unit comes to about 1.9 kg (4.2 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 4 m3/h (17.61 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. Treat each side as an independent circuit when you ask for a quote: give both flows and what each fluid is.
