The SWEP V10T is the most compact evaporator in the SWEP range, built on the B10T frame. SWEP presents it as the replacement for older tube-in-tube and coaxial exchangers in cooling applications.
A small frame that builds to 141 plates. The V10T measures 289 x 119 mm (11.38 x 4.69 in) with port centres of 243 x 72 mm. It takes up to 141 plates and has a published max flow of 39.63 GPM (9 m3/h).
Same outline as the B10T, not the same unit. The V10T, B10T and B10TS all measure 289 x 119 mm and share the 39.63 GPM max flow. The B10T is listed with 304 plates, the B10TS is the All-Stainless model with stainless braze, and the V10T is the evaporator, in 316/316L with copper braze. The usual mistake comes with coaxial replacements: the new unit is matched on capacity and then piped the way the old coil was. A plate evaporator stands vertical and holds very little water, so its freeze protection has to act faster than the coil's did.
Threaded or solder, copper-brazed 316/316L. Published connection styles are threaded and solder. Plates are 316/316L stainless steel with copper braze (material code SC), and the listed approvals are PED, UL and KHK.
What the nameplate tells us. Every V10T carries its build in the designation: plate type, plate count, pass arrangement, materials and pressure class. The model number guide walks through the fields.
Best as a small evaporator replacing a tube-in-tube or coaxial exchanger in cooling equipment.

The V10T measures 289 x 119 mm (11.38 x 4.69 in) over the plate pack, with port centres of 243 x 72 mm (9.57 x 2.83 in). Connections on the catalogued builds: Threaded, Solder.
SWEP publishes the weight as 1.19 kg plus 0.12 kg per plate, so the plate count off the nameplate sets what the mounting has to carry.
When a V10T replaces another V10T, the port centres, the connection style and size on each port and the plate count all have to match, and the depth of the pack follows the plate count. When it replaces a coaxial or tube-in-tube exchanger nothing lines up by default, so plan the mounting position and the pipe runs around a vertical unit before ordering.
