The SWEP B10TS is the All-Stainless version of the B10T frame: 316 stainless plates joined with stainless steel braze, so no copper or nickel touches either fluid. It is built for systems that demand 100% stainless components - ammonia, biogas, oil, deionized water, pharmaceutical duties - and for high temperature work.
Same footprint as the B10T. The B10TS measures 289 x 119 mm (11.38 x 4.69 in), takes up to 141 plates and has a published maximum flow of 9 m3/h (39.63 GPM).
The S changes the metallurgy, not the size. The B10TS, the B10T and the V10T are all 289 x 119 mm with the same 39.63 GPM ceiling, so they cannot be told apart with a tape measure. The B10T is 304 plates with copper braze and the V10T is a copper-brazed evaporator; only the B10TS is copper free. Fitting a copper-brazed unit on ammonia or deionized water because it bolts into the same place is the mistake - ammonia attacks the braze and pure water leaches copper from it. Read the material code: SPS means All-Stainless.
SPS construction, S pressure class. Every part number on file is the SPS material code - 316 plates, stainless braze - in the S pressure class, with four 1" & 22U combo connections. Published approvals are PED, UL and KHK.
Ordering by the string. Quote a B10TS by its full designation, for example B10TSHx30/1P-SPS-S 4x1"&22U rather than by the model alone - the fields after the model set the plates, materials, pressure class and connections. See the model number guide.
Best where copper cannot touch the fluid: ammonia, deionized water, biogas, oil and pharmaceutical loops.

The B10TS measures 289 x 119 mm (11.38 x 4.69 in) over the plate pack, with port centres of 243 x 72 mm (9.57 x 2.83 in). Connections on the catalogued builds: Threaded, Threaded Ultra High Approved.
SWEP publishes the weight as 1.24 kg plus 0.121 kg per plate, so the plate count off the nameplate sets what the mounting has to carry.
The outline and port centres are common to the B10T frame, so they confirm the frame but not the model - the material code on the nameplate has to read SPS. Depth grows with plate count, so check the clearance behind the unit against the new plate count. The connections are combo fittings, so confirm whether the existing pipework is threaded onto them or soldered into them, and match the pass arrangement, because a two-pass unit does not pipe up like a single-pass one.
