Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B400THx150/1P-SC-M as shown on this page.
This is the 150-plate B400T: SWEP designation B400THx150/1P-SC-M. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. Reading the string: /1P is single pass; -SC is 316/316L stainless steel plates joined with copper. The closing M is the pressure class: up to 45 bar at 135 C, fatigue tested. The B400T plate pack measures 694 x 304 mm (27.32 x 11.97 in) on 601 x 205.5 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 150-plate unit comes to about 111.8 kg (246.4 lb) dry. The frame is published to 83 m3/h (365.44 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. If the flow on either side would exceed the published ceiling, the answer is a larger frame, not more plates on this one.
