Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B120THx40/1P-SC-S 2x1 1/2"INT HEX+2x1 1/4"INT HEX as shown on this page.
This is the 40-plate B120T: SWEP designation B120THx40/1P-SC-S 2x1 1/2"INT HEX+2x1 1/4"INT HEX. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. Reading the string: /1P is single pass; -SC is 316/316L stainless steel plates joined with copper. The closing S is the pressure class: 31 bar at 155 C. The connection field reads 2x1 1/2"INT HEX+2x1 1/4"INT HEX. The B120T plate pack measures 525 x 243 mm (20.67 x 9.57 in) on 456 x 174 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 40-plate unit comes to about 24.5 kg (54.0 lb) dry. The frame is published to 27.4 m3/h (120.64 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. It is not neccessary to send drawings for a like-for-like replacement - the string above carries the whole build.
