Note: Unit pictured is representative of standard unit and may not exactly depict p/n B120THx40/1P-SC-S 4x2"(54) as shown on this page.
This is the 40-plate B120T: SWEP designation B120THx40/1P-SC-S 4x2"(54). The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperature matters more than pump head. The /1P-SC fields read as single pass, with 316/316L stainless steel plates and a copper braze. The closing S is the pressure class: 31 bar at 155 C. It is catalogued with 4x2"(54) connections. The B120T plate pack measures 525 x 243 mm (20.67 x 9.57 in) on 456 x 174 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 40-plate unit comes to about 24.5 kg (54.0 lb) dry. The frame is published to 27.4 m3/h (120.64 GPM) - a port limit rather than a design flow. Thermal performance depends on the duty as much as on the part number, so include the fluids if the unit is going into a new application.
