The SWEP DB700, now designated DBD700, is a True Dual model with two refrigerant circuits in one copper-brazed plate pack. The published sheet describes it as a True Dual evaporator optimized for high performance with high-efficiency refrigerants.
A 725 x 302 mm True Dual model with a 126 m3/h ceiling. The DB700 measures 725 x 302 mm (28.54 x 11.89 in) and is built with up to 362 plates. Published maximum flow is 126 m3/h (about 555 GPM).
Three 700-series models share one outline and differ in plate and material. The DB700, DP700 and DV700 all measure 725 x 302 mm and are all published at about 555 GPM. The DB700 and DV700 use 304 stainless plates; the DP700 uses 316/316L. The DV700 is the AsyMatrix model, with asymmetric channels. The error on a replacement is to quote "a 700" from the dimensions - the letter after the D and the plate steel both have to be carried over, and the DB650 is a wider unit altogether.
304 stainless plates with copper braze. Plates are 304 stainless steel, copper brazed - a construction for ordinary water and refrigerant duty. SWEP publishes threaded, Victaulic and solder connections for the DB700.
Ordering by the string. Quote a DB700 by its full designation, for example DB700x140 rather than by the model alone - the fields after the model set the plates, materials, pressure class and connections. See the model number guide.
Dual-circuit unit for large chillers and heat pumps running high-efficiency refrigerants.

The DB700 measures 725 x 302 mm (28.54 x 11.89 in) over the plate pack, with port centres of 546 x 191 mm (21.50 x 7.52 in). Connections on the catalogued builds: Threaded, Victaulic, Solder.
SWEP publishes the weight as 11.73 kg plus 0.6013 kg per plate, so the plate count off the nameplate sets what the mounting has to carry.
The outline is shared by three models, so matching it proves little. The port centres must agree with the existing pipework, each refrigerant circuit and the water side must have the original connection type and size, and the plate letter must be the same. Depth increases with plate count, which on this model can be high, so check the room behind the unit.
