E8THx40

Part number E8THx40 is the SWEP E8T frame carrying 40 plates. The H plate is the obtuse chevron: it gives the most heat transfer per plate and the most pressure drop, so it suits duties where approach temperture matters more than pump head. The E8T plate pack measures 315 x 73 mm (12.4 x 2.87 in) on 278 x 40 mm port centres, and by SWEP's published weight formula a 40-plate unit comes to about 3.5 kg (7.7 lb) dry. Maximum flow for the frame is 4 m3/h (17.61 GPM); that is a ceiling for the ports, not a duty point. Treat each side as an independent circuit when you ask for a quote: give both flows and what each fluid is.
