The SWEP DV200 is a True Dual evaporator for chiller and heat pump applications, with two refrigerant circuits working against one water circuit in a single plate pack. It sits in the 75 to 200 GPM band.
Same footprint as the other 200-size frames. The DV200 measures 525 x 243 mm (20.67 x 9.57 in), is built with up to 202 plates and carries a published maximum flow of 27 m3/h (118.88 GPM).
The DV200 is heavier than its DP200 twin at the same plate count. SWEP publishes 19.25 kg plus 0.42 kg per plate for the DV200 against 9.31 kg plus 0.42 kg per plate for the DP200. Footprint, plate material, braze and flow ceiling are identical between the two, and the DB200 condenser shares the footprint as well. So the code letters, not the dimensions, identify the unit. The selection mistake is replacing a DV200 with a DP200 because the two measure the same and are both described as True Dual evaporators. The DV200 is now designated DVD200.
316/316L stainless plates, copper braze. Threaded, Victaulic and solder connections are catalogued. Copper braze keeps the unit to conventional refrigerants and water or glycol; it is not for ammonia or deionized water.
What the nameplate tells us. Every DV200 carries its build in the designation, for example DV200x130: plate type, plate count, pass arrangement, materials and pressure class. The model number guide walks through the fields.
Best used as the evaporator of a two-circuit chiller or heat pump built around the DV plate.

The DV200 measures 525 x 243 mm (20.67 x 9.57 in) over the plate pack, with port centres of 456 x 174 mm (17.95 x 6.85 in). Connections on the catalogued builds: Threaded, Victaulic, Solder.
SWEP publishes the weight as 19.25 kg plus 0.42 kg per plate, so the plate count off the nameplate sets what the mounting has to carry.
A DV200 replacement has to match the original on port centres and on the type and size of every connection, on both refrigerant circuits and on the water side. Depth increases with plate count, so the space behind the unit matters as much as the footprint. Allow for the weight too, since the mounting has to carry it without help from the piping.
